Powerful and easy to use

I have been using Bible Glo for about a year and love it! It is so easy to navigate and I like the ability to highlight, add notes, and journal. I have used other Bible software and this one by far is the BEST!! Well worth the investment.

I use the app on my iPad and iPhone all the time. Super useful. The major hindrance on my mac is it doesn’t support retina display. I would really like to see this feature in the near future.

this app isnt just the bible on a screen; no its much more. From the animations to the maps, syncing ability, and clean UI this will make anyone ditch their old bible or other bible app. Oh ya and the fact that its FREE doesnt hurt too. ;)

I installed this app recently and I opened it and it seemed to be working fine, however when I wanted to quit the app it never quit. The window just closed, but it did not quit. I tried to uninstall it but I can’t because there is no uninstall option. I can’t even restart my laptop because it will not quit. I can’t even force quit the app. I can’t even open a new window. The app is just running.

Does not open, Crashes after start-up. I’m using OS X Yosemite, 15 in macbook pro retina.

It will not remain open on a my Mini Mac. I might love it, but how can I love something that wont open?

I have used this app for a few years and echo the sentiments that it is the perfect Bible app in so many ways. In fact, I liked it so much that I asked my wife for the premium version for Christmas. I am excited to use it on a Mac but haven’t yet as it keeps crashing. Even the free app has become completely unusable with the upgrade. It has crashed thee times and did the data dump as I am writing this review. It works great on my iPad, but on a Mac it’s useless. I did due diligence and captured the crash reports and contacted tech support. I was told that the app is not supported on Yosemite. Ridiculous. Then SAY THAT somewhere… I replied and asked for a refund to which I am awaiting a response several days later. I have a great appreciation for this app but not being compatible with current operating systems is a huge oversight.

I really like this app and would have given it five stars with the exception that it’s real glitchy when running on Yosemite. I purchased this for my PC many years ago and really enjoyed it. When I purchased my MAC was hoping that they had a MAC version by now. Was excited to see the MAC version, so tried using the FREE version to be sure it ran as good as it did on my PC. It’s really glitchy. Want to purchase but not planning on doing so until it’s improved and more stable. I hope they work on making it more compaitble with Yosemite.

This is one of the best bible apps I have used. It has a lot of great features, even for a free app. The biggest issue is it crashes of often that it makes my bible study harder because I will be following along with my minister and it will shut down. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE fix this bug!

I had this on my IPAD and it works great, and my Iphone and love it. but I have yet to be able to use it on my Macbook which i really wanted it on my Mac. It crashes everytime I load it. It has not worked once. reinstalled multiple times. glad it at least works on my ipad.

Like Bible Glo but would love it if I didn’t have so many problems with opening it up and getting an error message that closes the app. I have to click reopen to have it open and stay open. Another problem I have is with syncing. I have a window constantly open up letting me know it is syncing, I have to click ok for the window to go away. This is not the free version I have. I purchased Bible Glo for my MAC Desktop. I hope they fix whatever problems are there.

I downloaded this app to sync up with my iOS versions. All of the apps crash a lot. This one says it works on 10.6 or later. However, every time I’ve tried to open it, it just crashes. I have contacted support several times. Their only response to me was that it does not currently support Yosemite. You would think that Apple would make them put that in their listing since it says 10.6 OR LATER. I wanted so badly for this to work. It looks nice, but in its present form, USELESS to me. It makes me sad. I only wish I could return all of the apps and spend my $30 on study Bibles that work. The other Bible apps don’t offer as many media features, but what they do offer actually works.

Why is this app so unstable? I love what I see this app could be but I cannot go more than a few minutes without it crashing and closing on me. I began using the free version with the intent of buying the premium package but will not upgrade because the program is so unstable. I also downloaded the iPhone app and am experiencing the same problems with that. I am returning to my YourVersion Bible app for now and will check back on this app in the future to see if they fix things.

I have been using Glo Bible without fail since I downloaded it, however, since my upgrade to Yosemite OS as well as the 8.1.3 iOS on my iPhone, I have been having issues after issues, more on the Mac than on the iPhone. On my Mac, the application experiences repeated crashes upon open while on the iPhone there are hang-ups and lags when I open the session history. I love this app, and I want to continue using it but the amount of issues I experience are driving me to look elsewhere. Will there be an OS and iOS update in the near future?

I love Glo Bible and all it has to offer. Amazing study bibles, maps, artwork, and so much more. Anyone wanting to learn more about the Word of God, this is the app to have. Works great on Mac and iOS. Although there’s a problem with syncing but I hope there will be a future update soon, it has been awhile.

This App on my Mac Book is easy to get to. The NIV Bible (my favorate version) is printed out so much like a page of a Blble that I use it for study forgetting I have other Bibles near at hand. The side notes are helpful and easy to navigate through. Great App! Keep them coming!!
